Barbara King is an actress/comedian based in Los Angeles. Her monthly comedy show, “The Saturday! Saturday! Show” has been chosen as a “Top Pick” by the LA Times.

Barbara received her BFA in Drama from the prestigious acting program at NYU’s TIsch School of the Arts where she was also the President of the Student Council, a Founder’s Day Scholar, and the recipient of the Key Pin and Scroll Award.

Theatrically, Barbara has written and starred in several off-Broadway productions, including the hit Maidin America, and the well-acclaimed New York International Fringe Festival one-woman-show, ‘Rapt Inside’, proving herself as “a name to be looked for in downtown theatre” (nytheatre.com).

Following her theatrical success, Barbara move onto film and tv, playing the lead role in several independent films and guest starring in TV shows including the season premier of Law & Order, and Parks and Recreation, Law & Order SVU, and soap operas. She also has been seen in many national commercials including Toyota, Chase, Macy’s, Dannon, Amstel Light, and more.
